Helio Supply CBS Tank Review: Easily the Best Vape Pen Experience We’ve Had
Finding worthwhile new vapes can be an ordeal. With countless options flooding the market, it’s easy to become overwhelmed by the choices available. We personally prefer vaping over combustion but as you know, 510 cartridges and vape pen setups have been slow to reach a quality level we could enjoy. The presence of cotton wicking, along with heavy metals causing harsh vapor left a lot to be desired in the first generation of 510 technology. We’ve kept trying the new hardware as they improve and felt that moving away from cotton and metal was a MAJOR improvement. Enter the newest tech, Cottonless Bucket Series Cartridges. We are enamored with this technology so here’s our no frills review.
Tank Design
Very simple and sleek, smooth matte black finish. Feels nice to the touch, lacks any cheap plastic feel. Fully visible tank so you can see the fill level accurately and quickly. We would consider it medium size, not too small or large compared to other tanks I’ve tried. Solid metal container on the outside, with a very smooth and comfortable mouthpiece. The CBS tank is a wider 510 cartridge, the wide base allows for more airflow and a larger, more porous atomizer which results in great absorption and optimal flavor.
Overall, the quality level is very noticeable. If aesthetics and comfort matter for you, it’s got them in spades.
High-Quality Materials Focused on Safety
When it comes to vaping, safety is paramount. We've never liked the metals and cotton used in vape products, especially considering the flood of questionable companies using cheap mystery materials to chase the popularity of pens.

Smooth Results: A Surprising Experience
Now, let’s talk about what really surprised us—the vaping experience itself. As someone who doesn’t typically gravitate towards vape pens, I expected some light improvements from the Helio Supply CBS Tank. In my experience, vape pens often fall short of delivering the rich, full-bodied flavors that traditional methods provide. Or worse, leave me coughing after just a few puffs. The current top contender was the All-Quartz systems I’ve used before. Decent but too harsh for my liking
The smoothness of the results was very surprising. Easily the smoothest tank I’ve used, and full sessions did not cause coughing fits. Flavor and flow are also excellent, to be expected with Cottonless Bucket technology. This is the first vape pen I’d actually like to keep filled and on hand for frequent use.
A Cottonless Bucket tank will be in my lineup going forward, and Helio Supply has knocked it out of the park with the CBS Tank.
Conclusion: A Serious Standout
I’ve tried many vape pen set ups over the years, hoping to find something that delivered an experience worth the cost. In price, safety, and smoothness this is the only one that actually pushes the bar high enough.

The CBS tank can achieve higher clouds at lower temperatures which allows consumers to access lower temperature settings on their batteries. When paired with our Smart Range Battery, with the widest voltage range on the market, you can access voltages as low as 1.2-1.6v. Most traditional 510 cartridges cannot achieve vapor with these low temperature settings. If you have not tried this you are in for a tasty treat.
